Number 43 is a multimedia dance project created for choreographer Liana Conyers, performed at the DC Dance Festival in 2024. This piece tells the personal story of Liana’s return to Atlanta at age 43, intertwining movement, memory, and place. I directed, shot, and edited the accompanying visuals, which were projected onto the stage backdrop, amplifying the emotional depth of the performance.
The visuals layered abstract footage and nostalgic imagery, reflecting the complexity of human experience and personal growth. By blending video with live performance, the work created an immersive environment where dance and projection merged, offering a sensory exploration of home and identity.
